The Pastry Garden is a retail and wholesale bakery serving the Hudson Valley and surrounding region. It is well known for its various specialty items, its baked goods and wedding cakes. The Pastry Garden is also a Kosher bakery available for your Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebrations.

The Pastry Garden began in December 1984 as a small retail bakeshop with owners Stephanie and Anthony Principe, and one salesperson at the Rte.44 Poughkeepsie location. Sales demand was strong so more products were created and additional staff was hired. The Pastry Garden was expanded at this time to supply the increased demand. Wholesale business began to grow as restaurants and caterers discovered the variety of pastries and cakes that were available for area delivery. The Pastry Garden now employs over 40 people and is in production nearly 24 hours a day.
